Plus Ev-Charge's portable charger, EV Rugged, is a practical device for charging electric cars and other vehicles that have a Type 2 Mode 3 interface.
Simply connect EV Rugged to any industrial socket, whether single-phase or three-phase, to charge vehicles practically and safely.
This charger allows you to avoid a whole series of costs related to the installation of fixed wallboxes, as well as making charging operations very "flexible" and practical for large vehicle fleets (e.g., dealerships and workshop yards). It is indeed possible to reach and charge vehicles even far from power outlets using 30-meter extension cords, in addition to the integrated 4 m charging cable (7 m optional).
The external body of EV Rugged is made of a technopolymer with a thickness of 60 tenths, making it extremely durable; the entire device has an IP 55 protection rating, thus ensuring suitability even for heavy-duty environments! The practical integrated handle and light weight of approximately 8 kg allow for easy transport of EV Rugged wherever desired.
Through a practical display and keypad, it is possible to adjust the charging power, with steps of 1 Ampere at a time, from 6 to 32 A, in order to better manage charging currents even in case of possible meter limitations.
Distinctive features of EV Rugged:
- It can be installed wherever there is a single-phase and three-phase industrial socket.
- It does not require any type of installation and can be used with extension cords up to 30 meters away as a supply, in addition to the 4 m charging cable (a 7 m cable can be chosen as an option).
- It is highly transportable thanks to the handle and its light weight of about 8 kg.
- Its ease of transport makes it an excellent solution both for when you have to travel and when dealing with a large fleet, allowing charging without having to move the vehicles.
- EV-Rugged is available in two versions: single-phase (from 6A, 1.4kW up to 32A, 7.4 kW) and three-phase (from 6A, 4.5kW up to 32A, 22 kW).
- Its power can be adjusted, Ampere by Ampere, from 6 to 32 A via its display and keypad.
- To always be compliant and with maximum safety, it comes equipped with RCM and residual current circuit breaker.
- Easy control and troubleshooting of the charger via the internal display, under the flap.
- Easy resetting of the residual current circuit breaker via the levers under the flap.
- Its charger is made of technopolymer, with a thickness of 60 tenths, to make it resistant to any type of impact.
